How to Read Comparisons and Trends in Audience Signals

Modified on: Tue, 14 Jul, 2026 at 12:00 PM

Audience Signals can include comparison and trend views for things such as Channels, prompts, campaigns, feedback themes and historical activity. These views help you understand change over time or differences between comparable Vibebo activities.

Start with the comparison question

Before reading a chart, identify what the widget is comparing. A prompt comparison answers a different question from a Channel comparison or a historical trend. Use the title and metric definition shown with the widget to understand exactly what the comparison measures.

Look for direction before explanation

A chart can show that one period, prompt, Channel or theme differs from another, but it does not automatically tell you why. Treat a visible change as a reason to investigate context: what you asked, where you shared the link, who the destination was intended for, or what happened during that period.

Avoid over-reading small differences

Not every movement is meaningful. Limited activity, short time windows or changing audience behaviour can make small differences look more important than they are. Where Vibebo does not have enough useful data, the comparison may remain empty or unavailable.

Privacy still applies to comparisons

Vibebo may suppress, broaden or withhold comparison results when a view becomes too narrow. Comparisons are designed to describe patterns across eligible activity, not to help reconstruct the behaviour of an individual visitor or anonymous sender.
