If a received message crosses a boundary, you can block its anonymous sender from the message workspace. Vibebo can apply the block without showing you who the sender is, so the safety control does not turn an anonymous message into an identified one.
Block the sender of a message
- Open Inbox+ and select the message you want to act on.
- Open the message actions or moderation controls.
- Choose the option to block the sender.
- Review the confirmation and complete the block.
Blocking does not reveal the sender
The block is a safety control. It does not give you the sender’s name, account details or other identity information. The person remains anonymous to you even though Vibebo can enforce the block.
What the block changes
Vibebo can use the block to prevent further interaction from that blocked sender with the affected message destination. The original message can still be managed separately using the message actions available to you.
You can review blocked senders later
Your safety settings include a blocked-users or blocked-senders list where supported blocks can be reviewed and removed. Unblocking changes the block status; it does not reveal who the person is.
Blocking and reporting are different actions
Blocking is for stopping further interaction from a sender. Reporting is for sending content through Vibebo’s reporting process. Depending on the situation, you may use either control or both.
