Vibebo Channels have access controls and can also have a search-visibility or no-index setting. These controls solve different problems: Channel access decides who can use the Channel, while search visibility controls whether the Channel should be available for search indexing.
Change a Channel’s search visibility
- Open Inbox+ and select the Channel you want to manage.
- Open the Channel settings or access controls.
- Find the search-visibility or no-index option.
- Choose the setting that matches how you want the Channel to be discovered.
- Apply the setting shown by Vibebo.
Search visibility does not make a public Channel private
A no-index choice is about search discovery. It does not replace the public or private access setting for the Channel. If the Channel should be restricted to invited people, use the private Channel access controls.
Private Channel access is a separate control
Private Channels use their own sharing and invitation paths for senders and members. Search visibility should not be used as a substitute for those access controls.
Personal-link visibility is managed separately
Your personal Vibebo link has its own search-visibility setting. Changing a Channel’s setting does not automatically change the visibility choice for your personal profile or message link.
