How Share and Source Attribution Works in Audience Signals

Modified on: Fri, 17 Jul, 2026 at 12:00 PM

Audience Signals can help you understand which sharing sources are contributing activity to your Vibebo profile or Channel. Source attribution is designed to compare routes such as a QR share or other supported sharing destinations at an aggregate level.

What source attribution tells you

When Vibebo has enough eligible information, a source or attribution view can group activity by the way people reached your Vibebo destination. This can help you compare sharing approaches without showing a list of individual visitors.

Use it to compare your sharing choices

If you share the same Vibebo destination in several places, attribution can help you see which sources appear to be contributing more eligible activity. Use that pattern to decide where to keep sharing, where to try a different prompt, or where a QR code may be useful.

Attribution is not identity tracking

A source label describes an aggregate route, not the identity of the person behind an anonymous message. Vibebo does not turn source information into a recipient-facing clue about who sent a message.

Why a source may be missing

Some visits may not carry usable attribution information, a source may be grouped more broadly, or the result may be hidden until it meets Vibebo’s privacy threshold. The exact categories available can also depend on how the link was shared and what data is available for the selected period.
