How Audience Signals Briefs Work

Modified on: Wed, 15 Jul, 2026 at 12:00 PM

Audience Signals can include brief-style summaries that bring selected aggregate activity into a shorter read. Briefs are intended to help you notice patterns and possible next steps without turning the analytics workspace into individual visitor tracking.

Where briefs appear

  1. Open Audience Signals for your personal profile or a Channel.
  2. Look for a brief or recent-briefs area where it is available.
  3. Read the summary together with the underlying cards, charts or lists that are visible for the same context.
  4. Use the brief as a starting point, not as a substitute for the underlying information.

What a brief may summarise

Depending on the data and feature state available to you, a brief can bring together recent audience or feedback patterns and highlight areas worth reviewing. Some specialised brief slots may show an empty state when there is not suitable information to summarise.

Briefs use aggregate information

Audience Signals is based on aggregate activity rather than individual profile-view records. A brief should be read as a summary of eligible patterns, not as a description of a particular anonymous sender or visitor.

Treat suggested actions as guidance

A brief or related action guidance can help you decide what to inspect next, but it does not prove why an audience or feedback pattern changed. Review the supporting metrics and use your own context before acting on the suggestion.
