How to Manage Roles and Permissions in a Vibebo Channel

Modified on: Sun, 5 Jul, 2026 at 12:00 PM

Vibebo Channels let selected people review and manage anonymous feedback together. If you own or manage a Channel, roles and permissions help you decide who can access the workspace and what they can do there.

Manage a member’s role

  1. Open Inbox+ and select the Channel you want to manage.
  2. Open the Channel settings.
  3. Choose Members.
  4. Select the member whose access you want to change.
  5. Choose one of the roles or permission options available to you.
  6. Save the change if Vibebo asks you to confirm it.

Choose access carefully

Give people only the level of access they need for their role in the Channel. If someone no longer needs access, you can remove them from the Channel instead of leaving an unused membership active.

Channel member permissions are separate from whether the Channel itself is public or private. Changing a member’s role does not change who can submit feedback through the Channel link.

Who can change roles?

Role and permission controls are available only to people who are allowed to manage the Channel. If you cannot see the relevant control, your current Channel access may not include permission to change other members.

Anonymous messages stay anonymous

Being a Channel member does not give someone the identity of an anonymous sender. Members should use the access they have only for the purpose it was granted and should not try to identify a sender by combining Vibebo activity with other information.
