Vibebo is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Anonymous messaging can expose a person to unwanted sexual content, harassment, threats or pressure that is difficult to manage without adult support.
A date of birth statement alone does not remove every risk. Vibebo should use effective age controls and continue to review whether younger users can access the service.
What parents and carers should know
Do not encourage a child to publish an anonymous message link
Ask the child to stop using the link if harmful messages arrive
Save evidence of threats, exploitation or repeated harassment
Report harmful content through Vibebo and the relevant social platform
Contact local emergency or safeguarding services when danger is immediate
Vibebo is not a substitute for professional safeguarding support. Adults should take any message involving sexual exploitation, blackmail, self harm or credible threats seriously.
